Introduction
Jagrani Devi College is established on 2009 and it is affiliated to Bilaspur University, Bilaspur recognized by NCTE to run course of education i.e. B.Ed. This college is run by “Jagrani Devi Model Convent School Samiti, Baradwar” .The college has got permission to start B.Ed. in this course is running with permanent recognition from NCTE order no. WRC/5-6/ 114th/2008/ 51531 Dt. 25.02.2009
The college being one of the premier institutions to run B.Ed. Programme in the township is recognized for its emphasis on quality based teaching and for producing worthy prospective teachers and teacher educators.
The aim of the college is to serve the society by increasing literacy through education. Starting from session 2022-2023, this college is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi with Recognition Number Bharti WRC/APP2704/D.El.Ed./C.G./339th/2021/216912 Date- 12/08/2021. The college is affiliated to Bilaspur University Bilaspur. As per the guidance of State Council of Educational Research and Training Raipur Bilaspur University Bilaspur, the college is committed to teacher training.
